We need to act rapidly before the pressure we exert on natural resources causes irreversible damages. Leading the way in our sectors in the combat with the climate crisis, we are working to implement remedial and regenerative agricultural practices in order to protect the health of the soil, our key natural resource. We are adopting circular models reducing food waste as well as the use of plastics and packaging. We are aware of the fact that our “zero-waste company” model can help us contribute to the regeneration of the earth and its natural resources.  

Goals

• Achieving “Net Zero” greenhouse gas emissions by 2050  
• Ensuring that all of our plastic packaging is recyclable, reusable or compostable by 2030  

Decarbonization: We aim to achieve net zero emissions throughout the value chain by 2050. In line with the goal of limiting the rising global temperatures under 1.5 degrees, we create decarbonization roadmaps of our companies and focus on using renewable energy resources in our operations.  We are taking steps to manage our climate risks in accordance with the international standards.  

Circular Operations and Sourcing: We design circular operations for efficient and somewhat less use of resources. We continue to create value with our zero-waste operations which do not cause waste of resources. We make risk analysis of water supplies reducing our impact in water-stressed regions. We are aware of the fact that plastic pollution has a negative impact on humans and nature, and we are committed to ensure that all of our plastic packaging will be recyclable, reusable or compostable by 2030. For a more sustainable future, we work hard in our main areas of activity for restoration of soil, our key resource for raw materials, through the implementation of remedial agricultural practices.
